Daphne's latest creation - The Beauty of Fade.

Thinking to have something out of the box for so long already. Not colourful, no flowerish around...but just with an original colour of the dry flower and leave. It needs a little bit of brainstorming..and idea. So, started to create with an object which is the tree half a year ago... then only come with the background.

Find it difficult to have the nice background for my lovely tree. But that doesn't stop me for having an illustration on my mind time by time. Half an year after, the end product turn out beautifully and Daphne just like it so much !

Carnival booth in Fairview International School - May 12, 2012

Got an email invitation for this event about 2 months ago..which is quite surprising! Cause never thought that it will happens to me but yeah..it does. Happy..YES. At least one step further. After few emails only get to know the lady (which is one of the organiser) get to know me via a forum.

Nothing much to get ready because all these while I been getting ready ! That's really true for one of the Chinese quote "机会是留给有准备的人" meaning opportunities is there for anyone who have well-prepared.

There's always good to explore new place and meeting new people. Am one of those...Browse through website and get to know about Fairview International School which has a few branches through out Malaysia so question again.. where exactly this carnival will be? I won't go Penang nor JB for this time around..I think cause budget issue. There's always a calculator in my heart to count for all. Which budget planning is one of the crucial point for a success event.

Yes, but finally the answer was in Subang Jaya. All right, I think I can get there and I should be there. Asked help from sister and luckily she willing to follow me all the way from Seremban to Subang Jaya in the early morning of Saturday. I drove and she slept, fair enough. =.=

Oppss... realise quite a messs in the morning..!! from the canteen up to the flea market in second floor....but i suppose that's normal cause is in the set-up time! Quickly move everything from the car and finally my booth set-up was DONE..!! da...da...  a very simple handicraft booth.

Since this carnival is mainly for their school kids and parent thus, I expected a normal sale for myself today and yes the outcome was as expected. Nevertheless, me is happy cause have met up 2 interested women which love my works so much. Other than that feeling happy is because I've contributed 30% of my sales towards an orphanage house - house of joy..via this carnival of Fairview International School.


By the end of the day, it..indeed a good platform for me ! Gracious experience !

Passing by a year where that's really means a lot for me.
Moving to a new house where I been dreaming for a long time.
Satisfactory, we were moved in before Chinese new year. No time at all to create the pressed flower picture frame since half a year ago.. not for anybody, not for my house even. But luckily, I got stock ! The picture where i created last year September and I like it very much were now at my house.
